This trip turned into more than just a drive — it was an adventure from start to finish.
Henry took on his first interstate drive, and of course the weather decided to join us with a good rain. We headed out on a road trip with one goal in mind: picking up a farm truck from Arkansas that we proudly named Old Red.
Along the way, we made some memorable stops, including Chaney’s Dairy Barn in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where farm‑fresh ice cream and milkshakes made the perfect break, and Casey Jones Country Store in Jackson, Tennessee, home of the world‑famous Southern buffet, nostalgic candy, fresh cakes, RC Colas, and Moon Pies.
Old Red has been doing great since the trip home, and Henry has been putting her to work hauling firewood and helping keep things running here on the farm.
Here at Full Circle Farms in Waynesburg, we believe in hard work, family, faith, and sharing the real stories of farm life — the good, the rainy, and everything in between.
