There’s a moment in nearly every day on the farm that reminds me why I do this work. It’s usually quiet. Sometimes it’s early in the morning, sometimes at feeding time, but it almost always involves standing at the fence, calling out a familiar name, and watching a gentle giant walk my way.
In this video, I’m feeding Titan — and while it may look like a simple chore, moments like that carry a lot of meaning for me.
More Than Cattle — They’re Part of the Farm Family
At Full Circle Farms, our cattle aren’t just livestock. They’re individuals with personalities, habits, and presence. Titan earned his name, and like many of our animals, he’s become part of the rhythm of our days. When you raise cattle this way — seeing them daily, caring for them through every season — you can’t help but form a relationship built on trust and respect.
That relationship shapes everything we do.
Why How We Raise Beef Matters
Raising cattle on pasture, the right way, takes time, patience, and intention. Our cattle graze, move, and grow as nature intended. We believe healthy animals come from healthy land, and that belief guides how we manage our pastures, our herd, and our farm as a whole.
When people ask why local beef tastes different, or why it feels better to buy it, I think this is the answer: it’s raised by people who know their animals, who care deeply about their well-being, and who are personally invested in doing things right.
Feeding Time Is About More Than Nutrition
Feeding cattle isn’t just about making sure they’re full — it’s about maintaining trust. These animals recognize us. They know our voices. They respond to calm, consistency, and care. Over time, that connection grows into something special — something you can’t replicate in large-scale systems where animals become numbers instead of living beings.
For me, feeding Titan is a reminder that farming is as much about relationship as it is about responsibility.
The Story Behind Every Cut of Beef
When you choose local beef from farms like ours, you’re choosing more than a product. You’re choosing a story — one that includes early mornings, muddy boots, changing weather, and animals raised with intention from start to finish.
I want people to know that behind every package of beef is a farmer who has stood in the pasture, watched calves grow, and made countless decisions with both the land and the animals in mind.
Why I Share Moments Like This
I share videos like this because I believe those connections matter. They remind us that farming isn’t distant or impersonal — it’s deeply human. Titan, and every animal here, plays a role in our farm’s story, and I feel honored to care for them along the way.
This is what local beef really means to me: stewardship, respect, and a relationship built day by day — one feeding at a time.
